Back in the days when I used to buy for this shop, we got sent sample upon sample. My desk was pilled so high I had to have another one brought in; luckily an assistant came with it. I was contacted by Nazraeli Press with the most breath taking photographic book by Ron van Dongen. It was oversized and filled with the most seductive flora. The flowers are sculptural; he has given them a presence but also sensitivity. To photograph white on white is genius; it is hard to see where the image begins and ends. Lucky for me I got to keep this book, I have often thought of plucking the pictures out to frame, thankfully I haven't as I just found out only 1000 copies were made.
Oh, and he also photographs dogs.
