I have just been up in the loft and unearthed this patchwork I made to cover a sofa mattress we had in our old home. I made it out of vintage lace, odd bits of fabric bought on buying trips to NY, silk velvet, satin, and an old t shirt I loved (the heart panel). Although it is old and tattered, I can’t bare to throw it out, as so many hours went into it to make it, and I can remember a lot of fun was had sitting on this! So I will try to make a wall handing or the such like for a wall that needs a bit of old charm.
